The manual process of typing up citations, referencing them, etc. is an important part of my research and writing processes (feminist research practice etc.) ☺️ I also am tired of constantly learning new software/versions of software & this is one of the few realms where I can opt out of doing that

I refuse to use citation managers *but* as a copyeditor myself (I do freelance copyediting), I am BEGGING people to *follow* whatever citation style they are using instead of just relying on the copyeditor to dig up and add necessary citation information!!

When I lived in Copenhagen I biked all over the city from one end to another, often anywhere between half an hour to an hour per ride, to go to libraries, concerts, museums, art shows, etc., all through the winter because the infrastructure there is *set up for it.*

Yes! Today I was on a hike and fully expected to... say hi to fellow people at the trailhead, at least? And no one would make eye contact; the people I did say hi to complimenting their dogs seemed alarmed that I spoke to them (?), etc. !
