my new radical opinion is that forcing chronically ill people to exercise, overexert themselves, and gaslight them into thinking their illness is a result of negative thoughts is actually an institutionalised form of conversion therapy that must be eradicated

I am primarily thinking of the children in Palestine with cancer who cannot get treated the way they deserve. And how last year the dutch government refused to help a handful of children. That same government that would help me, but not them. It is unacceptable. Every kid deserves to get healthcare

I was at least lucky enough to be born in a well off family in the Netherlands in a time when healthcare wasnt yet ruined by NATO boss Mark Rutte. But even when the healthcare is good it sucks bigtime. You get ptsd and chronic health problems as a goodbye gift.

Apparently september is childhood cancer awareness month. I always forget this kinda stuff. Anyway, I had cancer as a child, and it sucked big time, and i am still chronically ill and disabled because of it. Cancer is not something that is beaten through courage. It is suffered through.
