PSA: Bluesky's new auto-tagging moderation stuff is a disaster. Disable it. Go into Settings on the Bluesky site and enable adult content and set everything to Warn at most, which makes posts opt-in. Hide just vanishes posts. Then go into Advanced/Bluesky Mod Service and do the same on everything.

Now that Jorge Gutiérrez has stepped away from his AI project I'm feeling a lot of things. I'm glad that he listened but the fact that he signed on to begin with assumes he thought it would go fine originally? That's insane. The resulting outrage was the most obvious outcome.

Don't give fuel to the argument that because the industry isn't healthy right now that he was pressured to sell out. Collective resistance is all we have to push back against studios trying to make it seem inevitable. Jorge made a decision against all of us and must now live with the consequences.
