It’s cool how much of multi-billion dollar business is literal theatrics now. Not “oh it’s kind of like theatre” but actually getting up on the stage and acting out a tale, projecting a big monster on the wall with shadows and feigning fear at your own creation. Kind of like a clown show, too.

Game kicks ass. In NG+ you can unlock gold relics (positive modifiers) by running each level with a specific set of rusted relics (negative modifiers) and they’ve created some fun challenges with the relic combos. Last one I did was no hipfire/ADS only + no bullet time. Gotta hit those shots.

WW was largely received poorly because the tech demo for Zelda on the GC showed a traditional looking adult Link in (for the time) visceral combat with Ganondorf. It created expectations that would not be met by the next Zelda game. The remake is being received poorly because it doesn’t look good.

If this were the case it would have been represented where possible. The original game manual, for example, is filled with gorgeous illustrations and none pass even the barest resemblance to the direction they have taken the remake.

Yeah I think it’s lost on most people that celebrating the failure of concord is shoulder-to-shoulder with right wing grifters who celebrate concords failure because it was woke.
