Making some silly #ceramic #art including this face platter that’s perfect for mounting on the wall in a moody corner. Any other #pottery people on here?
17” long x 12” wide ceramic face platter hanging on the wall with moody lighting. It’s a weathered bronze color with thin coils making the broad features of a face. The eye is a small mound of clay with a divet in the middleTop corner of the previous mentioned piece with more detail of the area around the eye. Increased shadow and more areas where the weathered bronze glaze shows color variation. Bottom of the same piece with a coil part similar in shape to a mouth.

While the stock market might be high, it’s only helping those in the market who can take advantage. In the meantime groceries are more expensive, gas has doubled, rents rise, and wages can’t keep up. The gap between people who only see the market as the economy vs cost of living couldn’t be wider.

Any democrat that doesn’t use this as an opportunity to eliminate ICE or get concessions from DHS on these behaviors is out of step with reality. Eliminating ICE is not anti-law enforcement but instead it’s opposing the militarization and weaponization of law enforcement.

It’s responsible for the government to cut legally allocated funds to organizations/municipalities who entered contracts for projects and now have to breach them risking lawsuits on top of the funds clawed back? Sounds good for business and definitely people I’d trust.

A woman with gray hair holding a sign that says:

“Well, we won’t back down…
No, we won’t back down!
You can stand us up at the gates of hell…
But we won’t back down!!!”

Based on a song by Tom PettyThree women dressed in Handmaids Tale dresses with the middle one holding a sign that states, “all the jokers dressing up as kings”Man with a beret holding to fingers in the air as a peace sign.

Especially if you're on the fence about it, protest today. Fascism is isolating and lonely. Its very goal is to make you feel like you're the only person unwilling to accept a cult of personality. On days like today you fully realize there are more of us than there are them. You will feel better.

We need multiple forms of protest, multiple avenues of resistance, many ways to be pushing against these horrors at once. There are going to start to be more protests, and that’s good, but we need strikes, slowdowns, document leaks, boycotts. We need loud public voices and refusals to comply.

The GOP plan kicks 8.6 million off of Medicaid. Rural hospitals will suffer, kids will lose care & people will get sick, all to give billionaires tax breaks. Medicaid is a promise to take care of each other. Trump wants to break it. Families lose, billionaires win. I’m a Hell NO!

CFPB employees can't own stocks in companies that the agency regulates. A DOGE employee was warned by ethics lawyers that he held nearly $700K in stock in such companies. He then carried out mass firings at the agency – including those ethics lawyers. The corruption couldn’t be any more blatant.
