I ACTUALLY HAVE A BATHROOM CHAIR

Matt Stauffer @mattstauffer.com · 21/09/2026

Our new house was built some time pre 1920 (records end at 1920 in Atlanta). One of its fun quirks is that any time water is running upstairs it’s *very* loud downstairs. I’ve discovered a secret power this gives me: I can tell when my wife is showering. 😍😍😍 #sorrynotsorry

Macklemore: Palestinian children are people. Robert Kraft *actively getting a handjob from a strip mall prostitute he refuses to tip*: We must ban this hate speech from every stadium in America. Let me call up my friends, the Epstein client list. Ed Sheeran: Good point, sir. Both sides, sir.

Everyone's talking about using agents to write code. But how do you make sure you're still growing along the way? At Laracon, I talked about using AI not just to build software, but to build your own understanding. www.youtube.com/watch?v=au9b...

I think a good test is the ability to explain something simply if someone says (after you finish speaking) "how intelligent you are!" - you're not a good communicator and you might not even understand it you want people to say "how simple that is! what's the big deal? even I can understand it."

I'm amazed at how far I am into writing this Laracon US talk and I haven't *once* run into that moment of "THIS IS STUPID I AM STUPID EVERYONE WILL BE SO BORED" Hopefully that means it's EVEN BETTER than all my other talks, and not just that I'm maturing or whatever
