Finished painting up Wazdakka Gutsmek, just in time for Warhammer 40k 11th edition. I also went a little extra on the basing by adding some extra minis.

Fell for the votann and ordered way too much plastic! Finally coming up for air! Got a bit fatigued with the orange, so did a quick detachment of teal. #warhammer40k #votann

Been collecting the Combat Patrol Warhammer 40K mags and finally picked my first proper army: Leagues of Votann. I’ve still got three kits to build from the mag, but of course have 4 more in the mail! #warhammer40k #LeaguesOfVotann #MiniaturePainting

There were a few great Discworld costumes at Comic Con and a LOT of very committed fans! Wish I could find a few more of them on here or Insta! Especially the Twoflower whose working Iconograph blew my mind! Cc @rhi.bsky.social @terrypratchett.bsky.social @terryandrob.bsky.social

Enjoyed my second trip to MCM Comic Con in October. Went for Captain Carrot from #Discworld, with @stegalega.bsky.social making a fine Commander Vimes and Dawn as Lady Sybil Ramkin (complete with knitted swamp dragon). #MCMComicCon #Discworld #TerryPratchett

Oh sweet jebus. I had to google that as it’s not something we have particularly in the UK. It totally explains the format being similar to a comic, but without any entertainment value!

My Insta is full of the same shit and Facebook is a wasteland. Getting rid of WhatsApp is gonna be more challenging. I do wish Apple would throw open iMessage to android users. WhatsApp would disappear overnight! Anyway, I digress, the state of that fucking “comic”! Why are they so embarrassing?!

Yeah! It was a bit bittersweet. I loved that it ended on a massive escalation of the world with Napoleon on the deck, but damn it was like losing a friend. I’ve only done that one once, where I’ve done the 1-20 series 4 or 5 times. To be fair, I’m still sitting on Terry Pratchett’s last book too. 🥺
