I am not team no-time-zones-at-airports. I get judgy about people drinking a glass of wine or a beer at 6-9am at an airport. The only case that makes remote sense is jetlag. I have no clue why I was offered sparkling wine on my flight at 6am.

I will never wise up about 6am flights. "Hey I can leave Toronto at 6:30am and be at my desk in San Francisco at 10am!" It always sounds great. I'm always awake at 6:30! But what time did I have to wake up for that flight? I need a browser agent that adds wake up time to flight search.

I'm in Toronto for a short trip. I don't hear a lot about it but it seems like a good bike city. Also a good reminder that SF seems to have lost the plot on bicycles downtown.

A weird thing about my SF based life is a lot of the flights I am on are long. I fly a lot to Boston and other places on the east coast. So when I'm on a flight that's somewhat shorter (Denver, or even Toronto) it feels luxuriously short.

AI feels like it's just the latest in a long list of ways to use extra processor speed and memory because the capacity of both has increased. Currently angry because instead of a text box on an expense report, I have to wait 15 seconds for AI to fill it in for me.

My home river is the Kennebec. I have a photograph of the Carlton Bridge over the Kennebec in my home office. My father spent 35 years working for BIW on the banks of it, I've rafted it, fished it, swum in it. I have the biggest feelings when crossing the Piscataqua, though (Welcome to Maine)
