Lovely walk around a local village a scarecrow competition. This was my favourite entry from somebody with an allotment: Spud Lightyear.

Spud's body is made of a bake off hay. It is Buzz Lightyear's classic green space suit with wings. A mission patch days From Veg Patch to Beyond with the Warwickshire Bear and Ragged Staff.

Passed this exhibition hall at the NEC today. Looks like it requires an extreme commitment to Pure Imagination 😆 Bet it still costs £50, though.

This is Slaughterhouse's tap room just down the road from me. Don't think I've ever been to a tap room. They've literally just built a tiny bar in the brewery and some makeshift tables. Open 3 days a week. And the beer is perfect 👌🍻

On this day in 1981, my Dad (top right, out of focus, moustache), was studiously paying no attention to the obvious proceedings of the day. He's a retired soldier whose trade was bomb disposal. Apparently they'd decided to wear suits instead of uniform in order to be 'inconspicuous' 👌
