The reveal of the Bard's identity at the end was the first time he'd ever come across a proper twist like this and his excitement as he realised the implications was heart-warming to witness - thank you for this gift!

Took the kids to a farm today. My 3 year old is afraid of most animals. Took her to see an alpaca behind a gate. Stood a metre away showing it to her when it turned and spat regurgitated grass and bile directly into both our faces. Cannot describe the scene of body horror afterwards.

Driving home from nursery pickup. Someone in the lane in front stops to let out a passenger who goes into a nearby shop. Driver doesn't move when lights change, and puts hazards on as I beep. Nobody in other lanes let me out and when I eventually manage to overtake them, I miss the lights.

Played "casual D&D" (just roll dice when something consequential happens) with a bunch of kids today and honestly, the creativity and imagination on display filled me with hope and love. If you're ever stuck entertaining multiple kids, persuade them to put the screens down and carry a bag of dice.
