This is in the current Private Eye. I can't say whether he's "bad" but it sounds similar to the new DG: hired out of external industry competitor, and aiming to apply similar models to those places.

In between meetings today I just... went and lay on the kids' trampoline in the garden for a bit? Must've looked nuts to the neighbours (#madlad) but I recommend it for a mid-afternoon reset.

Just saw another dad the same age as me doing the school pickup on a vintage steel frame road bike just like mine and now I feel like I have to move house all over again; this postcode's too small for us both etc

This is probably going to break timelines but it's the crowd I was in for Dolly Parton at Glastonbury 2014, allegedly 200,000 people. She was amazing. RIP to a legend.

I guess this is what the kids call an "album art reveal"? Anyway this is the cover image for my new EP, released in the next few weeks. Got 5 new songs to share with the world.

Taking down shelves in preparation for moving next week. Took one of these off the wall only to discover/remember that we, um, painted around it when we last decorated. Screwed it back into the wall and we'll leave it as a gift for the new owners 😬

Just donated my first proper road bike to the local bike shop to reuse. This thing took me on many adventures, including once around the loch at Etape Loch Ness, and on the fastest 100 miles I've ever ridden at RideLondon. Got a slicker replacement these days, but still sad to bid it adieu.

We don't talk enough about the ancient reptiles who "chose a life at sea" IMO.
Whilst dinosaurs ruled the world for millions of years, some reptiles chose a life at sea.

During the age of the dinosaurs, marine reptiles like ichthyosaurus, plesiosaurs, pliosaurs and turtles were some of the fiercest and largest animals of the world's waterways. Turtles still live in water today whilst their relatives the tortoise have returned to the land.
