MatCHNet is back this autumn with Webinar Series 7, three online lunchtime sessions on policy evaluations in the early years.
Each webinar runs from 12.30 to 1pm, with a 12-minute presentation followed by a short Q&A, and is open to anyone with an interest in maternal and child health.

Christina Vogel of City St George’s, University of London will draw upon primary research data to i) evaluate how using the Healthy Start subsidy influences food purchasing, diet and broader child outcomes; ii) identify factors driving Healthy Start use; and iii) co-create strategies to optimise the scheme’s impact.

We interviewed 40 experts on what works to deliver real change for children in poverty. Raising incomes matters most, but every department and level of government has a role to play. Good practice already happening in many parts of the UK, so effective collaboration and coordination will be key.
