Matarison's Electric Guitar Concerto No. 1 in a Minor - Album by matarison | Spotify

No one likes my Electric Guitar Concerto apart from me. But I like it a lot, so it wasn't a complete waste of a whole year of my life. open.spotify.com/album/6KRDeB...

Cheers! That's my favourite too. It's more repetitive than the other movements but it develops gradually. It's also really fun to play!

You're one of the few who took time to listen to it. Much appreciated! 😁

The weatherman just said we are currently losing 4 minutes of daylight every single day! By my calculations that means by 14th May there won't be any day left at all 😱

Make your AI music videos more believable by not having everything too perfect. Maybe give the singer a squint, or a spot on the end of her nose. Or even do what I do & have the entire thing performed by a boring middle-aged man in his bedroom.

I've been boycotting Ed Sheeran's music since 2011, so am well ahead of the curve.

This is just in a few years. Imagine what we'll be like in 1000 years time (if we haven't all been killed before then).

Seems like everywhere I look there's new AI features & AI enhancement's to everything. What's wrong with everyone! Don't they realise AI will take all their jobs & then murder them in their sleep!!!

And then you get a band like "Radiohead" that thinks it's somehow clever to write a song called "2+2=5" 🤷‍♂️

When recording the video I didn't realise how revealing my shorts were, but when I upload onto TikTok later it will make a change to all the guitar vids by girls in short skirts that come top of the timeline.

Now I've finally got a decent bass guitar I can put a bassline to these guitar chords I made up about 20 years ago, after watching a documentary about Sugar Ray Robinson (hence the skipping).

It's already been done! Back in 1988 and featuring much more relevant bands such as "The Christians" & "Hue and Cry"

I watched that on VHS back in the 80's & thought it was rubbish. I watched it again a couple of years ago & quite liked it. I think I missed the point that it's supposed to be funny.

Apart from "4'33" which explicitly states in the score at the 4'33 mark "this has now finished"

This is the 1st bass I've bought & probably the last, so I wanted to make sure it's really good. I bought a Fender strat with Floyd Rose tremolo 30 years ago & that's still my only guitar.

It's my 1st proper bass, so couldn't really say "new bass". My dad bought a bass guitar for about £10 at a boot fair 30 odd years ago & I've occasionally 'tried' to record with that, but mostly just used my keyboard bass sound. But, because of the onset of all this AI produced crap music...

But Argentina & Spain are both predominantly Catholic countries. Just coincidence? Or proof that Catholicism is the one true religion? Maybe its Henry VIII's fault that we don't win more World Cups.

This is also true for visual artists. When Picasso calls a painting "reclining nude" we have to accept it is what he says it is, but it could just as likely be a painting of a finger buffet, or a pile of Lego.

I got Spitfire's BBCSO library a while ago, which is great, but not so good for doing jazzy, freeform stuff. So what I've done here is detuned & bent the notes, then combined them with actual brass samples I found on-line. I'm quite pleased with it. The sax is just synth though, so still a bit crap.

Cheers Richard, I'll send you something tomorrow.👍

I've thought of asking him, but I'm worried he might think my tracks a bit shit.
