People with a Switch 1/Switch 2 on FW 23.0.0 (latest): Is anyone noticing that game boot up times are *substantially* slower than normal? We're seeing a handful of cases (someone who tried Pokemon stuff, another from a Splatoon speedrunner) where they're abnormally long after updating to FW 23.0.0

Idea for one of the Splatoon Lans If the venue has a big screen/projector for people in the venue to watch, have someone speedrun a splatoon game to highlight the speedrunning part of the scene, have a couch and everything agdq style That would be awesome

Forgot to announce this but we’re doing a Splatoon block at the Australian Speedrun Marathon this year :) This is my first time doing a speedrun attempt in person, but this block is going to be very fun Guess I’ll have to lock in on practice for the next few months, can’t wait to be there in July!

Something interesting about the wording *of the translation* of the Splatoon 3 11.0 announcement (would love someone who knows JP to check the proper translation) - it lists "modifications to some systems related to battles" This seems **way** more broad than just "third kits".

hot take of the century: the Bananza DLC is good DLC... if you fall into a niche group of: - liking Bananza (and its movement and gameplay) - liking roguelikes If you don't fall into this niche group then yeah the DLC is not for you... which is probably why almost nothing in it affects base 100%.

Can I just say I do not feel bad for anyone who got their Switch 2's banned as a result of the MIG Switch itself? 99% of the people using it were using it for some degree of piracy anyways, but regardless how you were using it, you *should know* it would be targeted given its use for piracy.
