What does climate resilience look like? In Massachusetts, it can look like replacing an undersized culvert, restoring a salt marsh, or protecting a waterfront from coastal erosion. Last week, we awarded more than $45 million for 97 local resilience projects across the state.

Here are five easy ways you can help sea turtles! Of the seven sea turtle species in the world, six can be found in U.S. waters. They are all listed under the Endangered Species Act. www.fisheries.noaa.gov/feature-stor...
An infographic showing turtles swimming from a beach into the water. The text reads: 5 Ways You Can Help Sea Turtles. All major threats to sea turtles—including bycatch, vessel strikes, pollution, and loss of habitat—are caused by humans. How can you help?
Choose turtle-safe seafood. Bycatch is the biggest threat to sea turtles. Buy seafood that is caught in ways that do not harm turtles.
Be a safe boater. Sea turtles come up to the surface to breathe. If you see a turtle nearby, slow down and steer around them.
Protect nesting turtles. Sea turtles lay their eggs on our beaches. Stay at least 50 yards away from their nests and do not disturb nesting turtles or their hatchlings.
Report dead or injured turtles. If you see a dead or injured turtle, contact your local sea turtle stranding network for help.
Reduce marine debris. When trash makes its way into the ocean, sea turtles can get caught in or even eat it. Reduce single-use plastic and pick up trash to keep turtles safe.
