Would be happy to see east bank freeway go away of course, but I think the “distance from population centers” thing could have been resolved many years ago by simply building some housing in downtown instead of betting it all on office buildings, which it turns out wasn’t a great bet

Never said they were going to want to do it, but given they’ve made a Palestinian state impossible, they either press on with the genocide to completion, or they acquiesce to a political settlement with the other half of the population, those seem like the only two options. I prefer the latter
