iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Rewatched Scanners yesterday. And the only real difference from then and now is that I'd really enjoy having the power to blow up heads nowadays.

A lot of people are saying a lot about abusers lately cause of the news. I'd like for my former stand-up people to reevaluate their praise for Louis CK. He really did just say that "he asked for consent" and everyone believed him immediately. No follow-up.

I have a coworker who keeps making AI songs specifically about his kids and their interests and he says they love it. But I can't imagine what sort of person it will form if the only music they listen as kids is about them playing Minecraft. It's bleak and I don't have the heart to tell them that.

It does filter yourself out of those groups of guys. That's the real reward for you personally. still not sure if it helps the greater cause tbh.

Endgame and the Game Thrones finale happened on the same month. That was like the end of monoculture right?

Calling it now. Doom is going to go "I am Doom!" above a defeated Captain America and Iron Man will show-up out of nowhere and go "and I am Iron Man" to save the day.

I wish there was a way to eliminate save-scumming. I know that would anger a lot of people. I really do believe letting the failures be a part of the story is a better way to play.

Got an absolute double whammy of learning about Jim Cummings being an absolute asshole. And less surprising, but seeing those John Cleese tweets. Ooof.

Like I know it's just playing the youtube thumbnail algorithm game, she's innocent in this. But feeling rage at "ruining my life" title and the video is about going on all the cruises. Cool cool cool.

Been catching up on Fantastic Four. I love Reed Richards. What are you even doing dude. Keep it up, perfect, no notes.

I've been trying to decipher if modern Fire Emblem is a good tactics game or people just like their animes guys and gals.

The current N64 recomps for PC are cool. But these FPS mods end looking like your parents tv sets with the motion smoothing still on.

So Canada is an honorary member of the EU? Hopefully the UK can join one day, not sure why they're not in yet. Must be an oversight.

I do admire the snyder fans that keep watching his movies but every reviews start with "well I had high hopes for this but..." after doing that for the 5th time I think its time to let it go

Not going to watch that new Harry Potter show anyways, but saw some new images. They kept the same aesthetic but just removed all of the colors huh.

there's a subreddit called writingscaling which compares writing like anime/comicbook power scaling discussions. And I've never seen a group that ill-equipped to judge writing.

using "terrorizing" is a bit harsh.

What I hate about the whole moral grandstanding about footage leaks from an unreleased game is that when actual footage is shown none of it matters. It becomes a cliff note, an interesting pre-release beta footage. I don't know why these billion dollar corps care that much.

When the Beatles biopic does a billion I do hope some b-tier movie studio does a Monkee's biopic. But they're all CGI monkeys.

Really dislike how crazy powerful everyone became. Everyone is omega level. I prefer a mutant to be a simple ability used with creativity. Iceman creating a ice mech is cool but also really lame?

Afraid to give The Odyssey less than four stars on letterboxd, the users might find me and beat me up irl

I does feel like local events have had an uptick of Katy Perry music. I wonder if she counts in the mandatory 35% Can Content now.

maybe they should put the UK back in the EU, as of kind of national "have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Oh man, Sam Neill, what a legend. He was always one of my favorites for being in some of favorite horror movies. And always seemed like a genuine dude.

Fully replayed DK64. I know it has a bad rap nowadays but the collecting issue is overblown. I was able to get enough to unlock all the worlds with minimal backtracking.

annoyed by the internet's reaction to a movie bombing is always "well just make a good movie hollywood!" like good movie don't constantly bomb for no reason too. Or vice-versa.

It's just Hugh Laurie as House but he gets to use his real accent. And it's a space time hospital. He diagnoses Churchill with space mumps or something.

I've starting saying the "Yellow M&M" when referring to JK Simmons. It's a lot of fun and teaches people of that weird fact.

Texas and Alberta want to separate from their country? Strange that every oil rich region wants to separate. A coincidence surely.

Watched Goonies for the first time. Very charming. But I gotta say without the nostalgia and being old now. I really sympathize with Richard Donner losing his mind with these kids. Cause I was feeling it too with the constant yelling.

Well in the words of Young Justice Robin. I was pretty whelmed at the ending of The Boys.

The Boys ending finally after 2 seasons of spinning their wheels in mud. Not bad television, but there's only so much shock value until it's just normal.

The independent Alberta algorithm has started targeting me. And it's something all right. It's fun to laugh at of how fucking stupid these people are. Big brexit vibes.
