For years Britain’s argument about Europe has largely been: what’s in it for us? Perhaps we’ve been asking the wrong question, writes Anna Damski. What could Britain bring to Europe – and what could we achieve together that we can’t achieve alone?

Burnham says Russian influence didn't affect the final Brexit result, but there's no way he can be confident about it. Russia poured money and propaganda into Leave, the leaders were in cahoots with the Russian embassy and London based friends of Putin. Why are we back ignoring all this again?

The role of the RW media must be addressed - Murdoch's publications, the Mail, Express and Telegraph plus the total inability of the BBC do confront deliberate elies about the EU, depicting them all too often as 'honestly held opinions' (a bit like 'justified concerns about mass migration').

There's PLENTIFUL evidence that Russia interfered in the EU referendum. Most sensible people on both sides accept that as a fact. If Farage can counter this obvious truth then he should present his case to us all rather than grandstanding and lazily calling Burnham a "liar".

So having been measured on Brexit harm, Then opened reset options debate. Next point was to detach soft leavers from "Brexit guilt". Soft leavers (unlike hard Brexiters) are mostly anti-putin. Russian interference issue now is more important at this point than bashing leavers's supposed europhobia.

My mixed mongrel UK family (with Italians & Congo members) were never really europhobic. The europhobes will vote Brexit WITHOUT any Russian interference. Its the swing voters/soft leavers that mattered. After 2016, it was impossible for any Tory govt to admit their complicity in Russian actions.
