writing fics is so fun until you have to google “(word) synonym” 30 times in an hour

#IDW_bsky I have been diagnosed with ASD, hEDS, POTS, ME/CFS, DCD, fibromyalgia and dysautonomia. Living with all this is an absolute nightmare and it's almost unnoticeable to others 😔

Whenever I put Cookie on the scale to weight him, he attains the posture of a showrabbit 😅😅😅🏆 #ACookieADay

A close-up, eye-level shot of a fluffy Holland Lop rabbit with floppy ears and tortoiseshell-colored fur in shades of brown, tan, and black. The rabbit is sitting on a striped towel outdoors, tilting its head slightly toward the camera with a curious expression. The background is softly blurred, showing green plants and a hint of a building under bright daylight. White text on the right side reads "@OBDsity BUNNIES ON A SHOW".

I spent three hours and a half getting ready and choosing what to wear to go outside, and then it started raining 😭

stats are not everything. you need to start being nicer to people. writers are not there to service you. learn to filter things in and out according to your preferences.

we need to go back to treating ao3 as an archive for passion projects rather than a social media site for "content"

“i hate a fic with too many tropes” not me, i hope there’s only one bed and they get interrupted when they’re about to kiss and then go through miscommunication before they get the /oh/ moment and i’m eating that shit up EVERY. TIME.

I think sometimes when people are writing characters its easy to underestimate how difficult it was to have good taste in music back in the day, or how likely people are to have curated taste in general.

Hi Bluesky 👋 I finally deleted my X/Twitter account today after years of going back and forth about it. Walking away from nearly 4k followers was honestly terrifying. Washington photographer obsessed with wildlife, ferries, storms, and dramatic Pacific Northwest light ❤️

Lil meowboy. Photo from my collection ca. 1950s.

Black and white photo of a white boy (tween or young teen I guess?) in a cowboy shirt and hat, looking seriously at a shorthaired white kitten he is petting. The kitten is sitting on a western style horse saddle and looks rapturously happy. It’s light colored fur and whiskers are luminous in the sunlight.

Lift off! Everyone is LOVING the recent summery weather!!

Photo of two baby goats on a bright sunny day. They are playing outside. A black-and-white one with ears pointing up in the air is leaping towards the camera. A brown and black one with floppy white ears stands nearby.
