This started out as a plein air painting from the view of my studio window, but the morning light changed to dull gray and snow. The rest was finished from memory, and I purposefully separated some of the marks to make it more mosaic-like. 10”x8” oil on wood panel Available on my website.

In the midst of wedding planning and last stretch before it's here - I miss nothing more than drawing, or other hobbies. Planning and questions from family kept me feeling guilty for wanting to take that time. Lesson in scope creep: courthouse --> full wedding. You can't please everyone.
