The five have not been charged with anything so Police bail was the only option. Thompson had been charged and pleaded not guilty ( despite filming himself committing the offence - what a bellend) in court. He was probably remanded in custody due to previous record and risk of him doing a runner

When you realise the the largest % of house construction costs is the price of the land and yet developers are still retaining ownership of what you have actually paid for. Developers will then sell off the rights to collect the ground rent to specialist financial organisations. PURE GREED. STINKS

Sorry for the length of this but everything concerning greed in the housing market makes my blood boil. We bought our house 30 yrs ago with 968 yrs left on a 999 yr ground lease. The rent is fixed at £19pa with no annual increases. The ground rent always seemed a rip off but not significant.
