In 1970 the richest 1% had about 4x the wealth of the average person, and the richest 0.01% had about 30x. Now the richest 1% have 12x the wealth of the average person, and the richest 0.01% have 1000x. This is the problem.

Global warming increases the atmospheric absorption of water by 7% per 1°C, now we’re witnessing the resultant flooding as there’s >10% more water in our atmosphere. The major impact will be on food supply but clearly there’s going to be an imminent end to insurance for property in flood prone areas
