I remember as a child being fascinated that ants were always on the peony buds in a garden on my walk to primary school. Sixty years later and I ask AI about it. Turns out it's a mutualistic relationship where, in exchange for extrafloral nectar, the ants protect the buds from pests. Nature hey!

How have I not noticed this before? Destinations of LNWR trains leaving Euston station on the former lodge buildings at the entrance. The spelling of Aberystwyth gives a clue to its mid 19th century origin. #Aberystwyth
