Was there too much jibba-jabba? Who was doing all that talking? I'm starting to think it was probably me. B. Askinlott

Damn, we went out to the lake yesterday and there were frickin' ticks everywhere! I read that they're moving north, into higher and higher latitudes, thanks to what they call "climate convenience." Anita Possumfarm

Someone from the neighboring town of Willits California posted these photos that they said they shot yesterday. Can anyone explain what's happening here? Is there some monkey business going on with our clouds? Or is nature just fantastic? Holden Stratusquo

Did you study civics or social studies when you were in school? Do you know the name and address of the place where the mistakenly repeat presidentoaf, but not his "wifeguard," lives? Was there any discussion as to how in the hell this kind of thing happens? Penn Sylvainen-Vulgar

"Catastrophic" has such an unpleasant ring to it. Couldn't we just say super-duper flooding? "Parts of California are now predicted by the CFS to get rainfall of 16 inches above average in January. This will likely bring catastrophic flooding." I say let's wring in the New Year! Noah Arkeology

When I was in junior high school we called it Junior High School and I remember wanting a very buttony shirt and a Nehru jacket. I also wanted desert boots, Beatle boots, a surfer shirt, a paisley shirt and a Madras shirt. Damn, in retrospect, I wanted it all. Neville E. Nuffman

When I hear a report on the radio that people these days don't have much use for books in hardcopy format, I feel like said people need to free up their imagination. Take this image from the White House website for example. Lee Broman

If you start feeling downhearted because events in the USA are so depressing and awful these days, just remember that things got pretty weird during the Civil War too. We can come back from this! Thad L. Cheerya

With the passage of time, one can't help but expect things to get better and better. That's because our society is all about constant improvement! I can't wait to see how and if we're doing in 2036. If I'm not around at that point please send me one of those Ouija Board updates. Albie Curious

Have you heard about glycine powder? I tried it and after 2 weeks I feel like it's really improving my sleep! My paramour makes me a little scoop of the powder in water and the next thing I know I'm sleeping longer and deeper, with fewer wake-ups. Consult your doctor of course. Rupert I. Movement

I've seen pictures of Trump's ugly father but this is the first photo of his grandfather that I've come across. It does make me wonder what Donnie would look like with a mustache. I picture it being thin, droopy and greasy looking, more handlebar than Hitleresque. O. Mipapa

Is this that deal they call "stolen valor?" I'm fuzzy on it but I think it has something to do with pretending you are a military general or a nutritious vegetable or a decent human being, when everyone knows you're not. Isn't there supposed to be a public spanking for this? Ron Duppa-Swatteam
