Leaving X/Twitter & Meta and applying more ethical vendor selection criteria
Problem/Motivation I'm not entirely sure this is the right place for this issue, but it's the most appropriate one I could find. While X/Twitter was once a neutral and (arguably) inclusive platform, it has now become a heavily extreme-right leaning platform used by its new owner to aggressively pursue his own interests, including dismantling DEI initiatives, promoting right-wing politics internationally, and threatening democratic processes. Meta has completely disbanded its fact checking team and DEI initiatives, and is explicitly allowing hate speech.
