It’s about surviving. It’s about being safe. No one should be trapped in an armed conflict-affected area. Even when safe passage out of intense fighting is possible, civilians who cannot or choose not to leave remain protected under IHL and must still have access to humanitarian assistance.
Civilians must be given safe passage to flee armed conflict areas.

My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the friends, family and colleagues of Dave - the owner and Manager of Kings Medical Services, who sadly died this week of a massive brain haemorrhage. Dave was one of the most kindest, compassionate and generous people.

🚨 Nursing staff are collapsing on shift, patients are recovering in temperatures above 30°C, and facilities are being described as "not fit for humans". It’s unacceptable. We need action now to accelerate investment to upgrade facilities and adapt to the climate crisis as temperatures rise.
