And you definitely don't want to use a high-powered 532nm green laser, because it can permanently burn and disable digital camera CMOS or CCD sensors. Green light is absorbed at a very high efficiency by these electronic sensors, meaning concentrated beams easily melt or overload the pixel array.

I think "pick me" columns like this are not to convince people of the marginalized group, but to provide reassurance and vindication to the majority. "You're not in the wrong for treating your LGBTQ+ child like garbage. Your child is wrong for cutting ties." Framed as speaking to LGBTQ+ people.

I'm deeply skeptical that there are tactics/strategies used by TERFs that are both novel to that movement and relevant to ours. Anyone claiming that would need to provide solid analysis to convince me otherwise. Anything applicable is likely not novel and could be studied elsewhere.

Not only that, but we have always known Roe v Wade was weaker than legislation. This has been clear since it was decided. Roe needed to be followed up with legislation. Multiple majority Dem governments failed to deliver or even sincerely try since the Roe decision.

This is exactly what the "left" was in the 90s and 00s. Then 2008 hit, and people started getting more overtly political in the 2010s to now. The solution is getting people more used to talking about politics, not making more politics-free zones. Agitate, educate, organize.
