Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on. slate.com/technology/2...

Drowning Doesn’t Look Like Drowning

Drowning is not the violent, splashing call for help that most people expect.

On Monday our instagram account was hacked and then deleted. We received a ransom note to recover it; obviously we couldn't and wouldn't pay, and therefore lost thousands of followers. Meta support was useless. But we're BACK with a new account: @littletollerbooks. Can you follow us there and share?

Not sure what you call them on here but 1,000 followers! Thank you. I notice many of you from Twitter who have leapt over, I don’t blame you one bit.

🚨NEW: Donald Trump has called Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde “nasty” and demand she apologize for her sermon yesterday at the National Cathedral that called for justice for the poor and marginalized. REPOST if you stand with Bishop Budde against Donald Trump’s hatred!

Bluesky feels the way Tw***er felt in the earlier days, much friendlier and nicer to be on! Would be nice to have more weather enthusiasts joining but for now we keep on keeping on! Sadly a lot of cloud trapped beneath this high, anticyclonic gloom is back on the menu! ☁️

I’m not going to leave X just yet - I hate that sense of being driven away from a place I used to love. But after one day on here, I already know how much prefer it. So if you see this and would be kind enough to share it to let people find me, that would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.
