I’m reading Brightest Day and this is very funny dialogue to end a scene of Mera running around naked (not just naked but highly sexualised naked). I’d say it was deliberate but I’m not sure Geoff Johns knows words can have multiple meanings.

Horny naked Mera is swimming in the sea, looking up at Aquaman on the jetty and saying ‘Are you coming?’ An awkward Aquaman replies that he’s not sure.
