agree, but i find the ignorance that so many people have about what it means to be an artist as a profession far less forgivable. i’m convinced that if there were less of this ignorance, fewer stereotypes, many more artists could ‘afford’ to be ‘ethical’. artistic work must cease to be a privilege.

i’m a huge fan of malec. i’m very surprised (though not that surprised) that he’s being rediscovered a few years after his death. his tracks are incredibly bold. they were back then, and they still are today. have a look at his wiki page, you can glean a lot from the few lines it contains.

i’m putting together a small self-released md. still undecided about a few things, but if i manage to save up a bit of money, i’d like to use a company for the design. there are very few (at least in the vicinity of or within my country) that, as well as CDs, cassettes, etc., also produce minidiscs.
