Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

UK data transfers with the US come under an extension of the EU-US framework. The UK's new data protection law allows personal data transfers to countries without independent or judicial oversight of data protection rules. But this would likely screw the EU-UK adequacy agreement, costing billions.

It’s great that the ICO has been looking into edtech, but the mealy-mouthed tone of the report raises my hackles. Failure to identify Controller and Processor roles in processing, gaps in impact assessments, incomplete data flow maps are not just “compliance gaps”, they are significant hazards
