Multiplexed deep visual proteomics resolves spatial heterogeneity and rare endocrine states in human pancreatic islets - Nature Communications
Linking spatial context to molecular depth in tissue remains difficult. Here, the authors combine high-plex imaging, open-source image analysis and ultra-sensitive mass spectrometry to profile single endocrine cell types in human pancreatic islets, including rare bi-hormonal and polyhormonal states.
