So many times when someone asks if an interaction they’ve made is accessible, the fixes I provide them change their designs more than their code. You can slap a whole lotta aria on stuff to force fit a design but better to just fix the design so it works better for everyone.

Yeah one would think. We are outside city limits so it’s county jurisdiction. Animal control is involved but they have been in the past too, and still it persists. So I’m getting creative 👻

I’ll take em all, to catalog for the right occasion! I do need some that are okay for small ears to hear (and likely repeat, as they do). These dogs literally do drag the guy around so that’s a big part of it

The motivation is that my dog got bit this time, requiring stitches… and there are kids at risk here too. This mama bear ain’t messin’ around

I’ve been working for months on a course overhaul, primarily at night… not going to finish it before this 2nd baby comes but I’ll keep on it. I’m proud of the updates so far! There’s even a mini design system in the workshop materials now 🥰

How you add rigor and assert requirements is the question. Maybe some pre-built integration tests that look for certain patterns? Agent skills could help too potentially.

I had a typo, should have said “interactions” 😅 Annotated design specs would help but you’re right they aren’t a source of rigor in dev consistency… a design system could include a demo of multi-page flows maybe?

A 4 year gap helps though… at least we’re sleeping through the night independently, not falling on our face every 2 minutes, and not running out of restaurants/breweries/etc. when we get tired or overwhelmed 😂
