- multiplayer coop is as fun as i expected, i yearned for the ace combat infinity experience i never had. - startup was a bit of a mess. long shader compilation time. it also crashed mid cutscene lol. - cutscenes are a bit laggy, but gameplay runs smooth, with one big lag spike in one mission.

first impressions (after 4 campaign missions and 1 online): - yup, it's ace combat alright. i like the ace combat 5 elements they added. - sound design is really good, everything has more oomph than 7. - playing with starter aircraft instead of end game death machines is refreshing for once.

my "home lab" is basically a 5 port switch with 2 pi's, with a few drives. it's all sitting on a shelf on my desk. i managed to make the setup relatively tidy but i cant put anything else there, otherwise it becomes a mess.
