Guten Morgen! Nach den wirklich sonnigen Tagen in hamburg ist es heute bewölkter. Es wird aber nochmal etwa 25° warm werden. Ich habe in den letzten Tagen die Sonne sehr genossen und bin recht viel spazieren gegangen. Das war meiner Stimmung und meinem Wohlbefinden sehr zuträglich.

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass dem Button ein Label fehlt, wenn man Thread Mode noch nicht eingeschaltet hat. Ist er eingeschaltet, hat der Button ein korrektes Label zum Abschalten. Und jetzt gehe ich noch etwas weiter spielen.

Sehr positiv ist mir aufgefallen, dass bei Posts, die repostet sind, jetzt vorgelesen wird, wer repostet hat. Den Composer teste ich gerade, unter anderem den sogenannten Thread Mode. Mal schauen, wie der funktioniert.

Und es war unglaublich erleichternd, endlich die Sicherheit zu haben, dass sich der Verdacht bestätigt hatte, der schon jahrelang bestand. Und Erklärungen für so viele Dinge zu haben, die im Leben gewesen sind, wie sie waren.

@aspergianer.bsky.social So war es bei mir auch. Ich, CIS-männlich, war 46, als ich endlich die Diagnose hatte. Bei mir musste auch noch sortiert werden, was durch die seit Geburt bestehende Blindheit kam, was davon den Autismus maskiert hatte usw.

Thanks! The audio description didn't catch that detail, and the dialog itself sounds through and through like they view it as a two-dimensional plane. The fact that they show it as a bubble makes this a little less painful.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Starfleet Academy. I find it intersting that we're not dealing with a fully graduated experienced crew, and I find at least some of the characters rather interesting, too. But this stuff takes me out of the episode. It's just such utter nonsense.

I first cringed when Ake ordered to scan for the shuttle in 360 degrees. But the really bad one came when they discovered that Braka created a ring of mines around Federation space. A "wall" they couldn't get through. Well just fly up a few lightyears and drop in behind that wall then.

Erster Tag zurück in der @taz.de nach ein paar Wochen Pause und irgendwie beschleicht mich das Gefühl, hier wurde in meiner Abwesenheit nicht nur ein sogenannter Clown gefrühstückt!

On iPad, everything works great. On MacOS, as soon as I start interacting with the collection view, the first item is spoken correctly, but if I then VO+RightArrow to go to the next item, everything is just read as „collection view button“. [2]

A question for #iOS and #Mac developers: I have two iPad apps I am trying to use on the Mac using VoiceOver, and both exhibit the same problem. They have collection views, and inside of them, timeline items, episode lists etc. [1]

Some great insight there! It would seem that the makers of the two animated series definitely communicated better than sometimes ssemed to be the case between the teams of Picard, Discovery and Strange New Worlds. I'm so bummed that Prodigy is not available with AD right now.

Even the progress meter that appeared once the migration process started, was correctly used, and when focused on it, the screen reader even reported the changes automatically. My profile is now hosted on European servers. [2]

I am happy to say that This was a totally seamless, and fully accessible, migration from the bsky PDS to the @eurosky.social one. I am a screen reader user, and the web app called EU-Haul talked me through without any hiccups. Every button, every other form field was properly labeled. [1]

Die @skeetsapp.com funktioniert übrigens mit VoiceOver auf dem iPad genauso gut wie auf dem iPhone. Damit macht Bluesky richtig Spaß. Kombiniert mit einer externen Tastatur ist man damit richtig schnell unterwegs.

@sebastian.eurosky.social The steps are a bit simpler than what I reported initially. Compose a post, attach an image, and with VoiceOver running, double-tap the „Alt“ button. Boom! So you don’t even get to the text entry for the alt text.

@sebastian.eurosky.social I’ve now completed my migration and also got me a brandnew password. Sometimes the simplest solution „Forgot password“ just works. 😉 So here I am now, and Skeets on iPhone is also already connected. And it was all fully accessible to me.
