It was faintly in the background all the time on our block after a three story apartment burnt to the ground at 3am a few years ago, until the demo crew razed it. 100

The usual fixes (cleaning the crud off the thermocouple in front of the pilot) aren't doing it. But, apart from cold showers as fall gets into full swing, there's no particular emergency. 121
