Die Wahrscheinlichkeit für die Bildung einer rot-grün-roten Koalition in #Berlin liegt laut Koalitionsprognosemodell bei 90%, die Wahrscheinlichkeit für eine Koalition aus CDU, Grünen und SPD bei nur 6%, falls das BSW es nicht in das Landesparlament schafft. 1/2

We further show that Catholics, and Protestants in particular, exhibit a declining probability of supporting CDU/CSU over time, whereas the support for the Greens increases among these groups. /3

So fanden die FDP-Wähler von 2021 im Frühsommer 2023 die AfD nur etwas weniger unsympathisch als ihren grünen Koalitionspartner. Auch die SPD wurde im Schnitt kaum sympathischer als die AfD seitens der FDP-Wähler vom Herbst 2021 eingestuft. /3

Insbesondere bewerteten die FDP-Wähler von 2021 SPD und Grüne, aber auch ihre eigene Partei im Zeitverlauf deutlich schlechter, was das schlechte Wahlergebnis insbesondere der FDP von Februar 2025 miterklärt. /2

Using a novel multi-step text analysis approach, we find that only in a limited number of prominent issue areas, including domestic affairs, labor policy, macroeconomic issues and civil rights, did German parties associate the pandemic with issues they own. 2/2

How does coalition participation influence party membership?@hannaeback.bsky.social @michaelimre.bsky.social and I find that junior coalition partners lose more members than parties that govern alone, and an increasing ideol. diversity within the cabinet is related to a decreasing number of members.

Während sich die Grünen in Baden-Württemberg zwischen 2021 und 2026 deutlich in Richtung der Mitte des Policy-Raums bewegen, bleiben sie in Rheinland-Pfalz weiter bei ihrer klar linken Position in wirtschafts- und gesellschaftspolitischen Fragen. /1

We find that German state governments are more likely to be incumbent cabinets, in particular when there was no PM replacement. Bargaining duration is also significantly shorter when the negotiating parties are the incumbent parties, but this effect is weaker when there was a PM replacement. 2/2

Eine wordscores-Schätzung der Position des Koalitionsabkommens von Union und SPD 2025 deutet auf eine Veränderung der Politikinhalte in wirtschafts- und gesellschaftspolitischen Fragen hin, wenn man die Position des 2025er Dokuments mit der des Abkommens der Ampelkoalition von 2021 vergleicht. 1/2

Ein verstärkter Fokus auf die Regelung der Arbeitsweise der Koalition im Abkommen ist auch ein Indikator für das wechselseitige Vertrauen zwischen den Regierungsparteien. Mit einem Anteil von knapp 2% für prozedurale Regeln liegt das 2025er Dokument über den Werten der letzten Koalitionen. 1/2

In einem Bundestag mit 5 Fraktionen (ohne Mehrheit für Union/SPD oder Union/Grüne) wäre laut Koalitionsprognosemodell link.springer.com/article/10.1... eine Unions-Minderheitsregierung das wahrscheinlichste Ergebnis, wenn man annimmt, dass auch eine Koalition aus Union und Grünen ausgeschlossen ist.
