Funnily enough, I have a similar experience, but with the concept of being "real." When I started writing my story, Cyber Fairy Homepage, it was because I liked the thought of being "made of pure fiction" if that makes sense.

The cops pushed protestors off the federal building, but they've made the situation worse overall because the protestors have spread out in response and are blocking two main streets (Alameda and Temple) and the entire 101 S freeway. There is basically no way for cops to stop this at this point.
