We’ve broken up our journey back to London with an overnight stay in the Dales. When you arrive in the dark it’s always interesting to see what the view is in the morning. A mix of solar cells, car park, sheep grazing and (I think) the town of Burley in Wharfedale across the valley. All very good

Being ‘home’ offers the opportunity see beautiful places like Balmedie beach.The sun just sneaking through the clouds on a crisp day you can make out a line of offshore supply vessels leaving Aberdeen to the South. As an aside, there is a Trump golf course along the coast and he hates the wind farm.
