unless I know you/your character and can run everything down, oc collabs with the pirate crew is very unlikely. It'd probably be fine for characters in Veil because of their setting and dont inherently deal with upsetting themes because they're not all raging misogynists. Ambra is racist though.

The characters in Veil live in a sexually liberal city where there are opportunities for flirting and friendly encounters. Unfortunately this isn't true for the crew of Salvage Rights where isolation is kind of a theme.

Everything happens on the comic because they (but mainly Clove) cannot express their desires candidly. The wish fulfillment is a woman being be touched exactly how she wants(rough), from men she desires without having to go through the shame of saying it. So... we blame it on the venom.

Clove having trouble expressing her desire is the whole point. Her friends assume they know best, use her interest to satisfy theirs and power through. They're problematic in many ways, including the fact that wouldn't have done that that if they thought she'd hate it. This only works in fiction!
