But you won't have every kid in America reading your book. They will look at it, and they will see straight through it, with their clear, cold, beady little eyes, and they will put it down, and they will go away. Kids will devour vast amounts of garbage (and it is good for them) but they are not like adults: they have not yet learned to eat plastic.

todays Read #Manga March Comes in like a lion Vol 2 few things I thought about Vol 1 .... took me while to get used to the over wordlyness (not a real word) but after that fell in love with the characters fast, this could be my favourite vol ever read to be honest.

I would say more than manga history, in Japan's history. When I moved to Japan and discovered Mizuki Shigeru, it was one of those mind exploding moments when I realized there was a single person so incredibly important to the art, history, and culture of the nation... that I had never heard of.

Title: Time To Rethink Romance in a Fulfilling Finale

I experienced something that caught me by surprise with this review. Usually, I jump at the chance to finish a series, tick it off on My Anime List and move onto something new but I surprisingly found myself dragging my heels with Volume 3 of You Can't Live on Your Own by Mizoko Tsuno. It wasn't until I finally sat down to read it that I realised why: I wasn't ready for it to end.
In just three volumes, Shuuko, Eika, Misaki and Shio had somehow managed to find a way to invade my subconscious as characters that I really cared about. You would think that was a side-effect of talking about the book on a podcast, but l've covered many books on Manga Tak at this point and it's simply not a given that I follow through and read an entire series.
