THIS is why due process matters. Because when ICE has to actually prove to an independent adjudicator whether someone is actually a member of a gang or not, they often fall flat on their face and judges are SHOCKED at how ramshackle and shoddy ICE's work on this stuff is. They get it wrong a LOT!

I have to say: Chuck Schumer is a weak man and a fool. This was the one cudgel Dems had. Now it's up to the courts which we new from the beginning were at best going to slow some things down. There's 18 hours left to somehow bring additional pressure to bear. It will be really hard to do that.

Having had my own (vaxxed) kid die of a vaccine-preventable disease, hard, hard agree. The hardest part of this discussion is that vaccines themselves have erased people’s memories of the time when kids died of childhood diseases all the time.
