Between this and Alan Wake, Stephen King's writing takes so many strays. I kind of get it, because King at his best is incredible and super easy to digest. At his worst, it is some absolute bullshit.

I would affectionately call the soundtrack for this Evil Waterworld for the SNES/Virtual Boy

Woke up to Infinity Pool. I'll have to watch this in full later. It's not quite as insane as Panos Cosmatos, but it makes me think of it + Death Game, so I know this one is a winner

Ricochet and Ospreay hugging everybody at ringside along with each other broke me as much as Bryan and Mox

When you have both William Regal and Will Ospreay call you the greatest wrestler to come out of England, I think the title's official at that point.

Someone was talking about PAC being stoic at meet & greets on Twitter, so it reminded me of this anecdote.

Small child in red flannel and blue jeans standing next to PAC with long hair, wearing black AEW hoodie and shorts. Both are wearing facemasks.

Nolie met PAC at a Dynamite, when AEW was still doing preshow meet and greets.

They both looked each other up and down. Then PAC stoically says “How is your day, little child?”.

When it was picture time, he plainly said “Stand with me in battle” to Nolie.

It was perfect.

The thing I'll remember most about Ben is how kind and fun he was with my kids when I'd bring them around. Ben was a generational talent inside the ring and a great dude outside of it. May you rest in and may your family find peace. ❤️

It's heartbreaking to follow these guys like Brodie and PAC since they could only be watched on wrestling DVDs, seeing them rise to mainstream, and then follow them until their final match. Then, one day you're checking BlueSky and they're gone. I don't know if I even have the words to say.

I know we say this a lot when someone dies, but I mean this, nobody said a bad word about PAC ever. And he's swam some shark invested waters in the last 25 years. Yet he was so admired and liked by his peers and the fanbase. God, his poor mother.

The instinct to share something personal about Pac, but the amount of respect, care and commitment he had to wrestling and to being a professional is a line I can't bear to cross - but let that remind you just how good he was. Forever loved, forever respected. What a fucking Bastard.

Not that I want to see another Spider-Man spin-off that doesn't have Spider-Man or Venom, but what IS Sony's beef with Black Cat? Seventeen Spider-Man movies, and she can't even get a name drop.
