It is essential to recognise propaganda for what it is.
Similar processes are taking place all over the world, and people everywhere are losing their clear perspective on what is happening to them.
On spiritual orientation: words from Dudjom Rinpoche:

Quote from the book: Essential Instructions by Dudjom Rinpoche (བདུད་འཇོམས་འཇིགས་བྲལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྡོ་རྗེ)
‘…Because of our [the exile of the Tibetan diaspora worldwide] exile, we find ourselves constantly in contact with outsiders. Under their influence, our young people are losing their faith. They risk losing all interest in the Dharma. We should give this careful thought and find ways to prevent it. Never renounce the Three Jewels!
Guru Rinpoche had foretold the great calamity that befell Tibet, and he had also explained how it could be averted. From the time of the 5th Dalai Lama*S until that of the 13th, all the ceremonies designed to prevent the disaster had been duly performed. But upon the death of the 13th Dalai Lama, the prophecies were forgotten, and the rituals were neglected and not performed as they should have been. The prediction then came true: ‘Perverse doctrines will spread, harmful forces will spring up from within, and demons will take hold of people’s minds.’ Had Guru Rinpoche been able to repeat the exorcism three times whilst in Tibet, binding the harmful forces by oath, the Buddha’s Dharma would have flourished in our country for a very long time. But ill-intentioned ministers prevented him from doing so, and he was able to perform the exorcism only twice. That is why our country has sunk into this catastrophe with which you are all too familiar.
Yet, at the heart of this terrible situation, there is at least one good thing:
➡️ His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Outwardly, he appears like a wall of iron; inwardly, a precious treasure. He is our refuge in this life and the next, the guide of the gods and the humans.“
