My did.json had service.id = did:web:malpercio.dev#atproto_pds. Peeped other did.jsons and noticed it is #atproto_pds basically everywhere else. I corrected, and now it works! biiiiig ups to @rpg.actor, I think this was just an issue on my end yet they still reached out and helped me troubleshoot ❤️

:) when I get an android build going I’ll be sure to let you know! I only recently switched to daily driver, using both the Obsign identity wallet and the custom pds (“Custos”). trying to make it so that the app could be used for any did:plc identity, and using Custos adds stuff like passwordless

both excellent ideas! Obsign is built in Rust/Tauri, so Android shouldn't be too far off. I'm sure it will manage to be more complicated than "just another build target", but compatibility with both platforms is definitely something I have in mind! I just don't have any Android devices :)

a CCL tear and TPLO surgery, a few days in the hospital with AHDS, and now a planned gallbladder surgery to deal with thickened mucocele plus a Cushing’s diagnosis. It’s been quite the year so far for my two dogs. I’d do anything to keep them happy and healthy for as long as possible.

I never called what I did “coding” and tbh I found being called a “coder” demeaning if not insulting I fixed shit and solved problems and sometimes it involved code. Sometimes it didn’t. The biggest money-save I ever made happen at a job was from reading AWS documentation, not “coding”

I also plan on removing the dependence on my custom PDS impl from the identity wallet app. There is little reason you couldn’t also get many of the “self-sovereign” benefits with say, a reference PDS. Just might miss out on things like, a server holding a recovery share in escrow for you.
