I'm thinking you have tried the usual suspects to no satisfaction? The Lane Bryant hipsters? I find the quality better than Torrid for washing/drying, the elastic frays less often & the material is more sturdy.

making tomorrow, but I am off-duty until Sat. A pot of congee on the menu. One cup of rice, 8 cups of water, & a chicken breast I was gifted. Ginger was .99/lb at Marketón. I need to see if I can freeze it. Yes. He bought a whole lb. I needed a piece the size of my thumb. I don’t pickle or candy.

If I'd had an apple, I would have thrown one in, but I let him use them all for his first cobbler (topped with baking mix) a few days ago. He was willing to try making one & it's one of the reasons I keep off-brand mix like that on hand. Full of chemicals, but at this point? Not sure what he is

It is a good thing that I like sausage as much as I do & all kinds. The sale smoked sausage I put in a crockpot yesterday with a whole head of cabbage, he reheated tonight, giving a good sear to the cabbage I didn't have energy to do. A few caraway seeds in the crockpot helped, an onion, too.

Have you eaten anything sharp or crunchy lately? I sometimes get little blister-like spots on the roof of my mouth after eating crunchy things like chips. My dentures don't fit well & you know the govt & health plans. I just leave those effers out & eat without them. It's easier, but sometimes

Nothing like a funny memory to put a smile on your face in the morning: There is nothing like having your front-hook bra spontaneously unhook itself while you are unloading your groceries from the cart onto the conveyor belt in line at the grocery store! Boing! (End of front hooks for me!)

I priced these items online at my local WalMart this morning, going off the least expensive items: $27.43, which, according to some calculators, if given as a cash donation, would allow the pantries to bulk purchase & supply 82 meals vs the 15-20 meals this might supply.

"Reverse Advent Calendar" with items suggested for food pantry including box of cereal, pb, apple sauce, etc.

My lil sis will be visiting & I am excited. I think she would enjoy this. Price & timing won't line up. I'd as much enjoy Bagila Bil Dihin at home if we could find decent bread for it, but not making her cook for me. I'm not sure I have found a way that I don’t like eggs & beans for breakfast!
