There are at least five other ongoing Alien Enemies Act appeals that had been stayed pending the outcome of this case, including another in the 5th Circuit (J.A.V. v. Trump), so presumably those stays will now be lifted and one of them will become the vehicle for SCOTUS to decide the issue.
