This is what an appetite for a mature, thorough, solution-seeking political discussion looks like: a venue absolutely packed with an engaged audience that many party conferences would - and should - be envious of. With hope in the air... bsky.app/profile/make...

In his latest book, George Monbiot takes down the dominant ideology of our time: neoliberalism. In our forthcoming series of 'Evenings with George Monbiot', we'll dissect what's wrong with neoliberalism - and what hopeful politics could look like. Find out more at: makehopepossible.org/tickets
The main text reads: "WHEN NEOLIBERALISM PREVAILS, ONLY THE RICH PROSPER. WHEN DEMOCRACY PREVAILS, THE PROSPERITY OF THE POOR, AND OF SOCIETY AS A WHOLE, IS ENHANCED." Below the quote, it attributes the words to "George Monbiot in his book The Invisible Doctrine: The Secret History of Neoliberalism." At the bottom is the "make hope possible" logo,.
