I checked the treads, which were ok. However I think the hot, dry summer was not kind on my budget tyres and they were starting to deteriorate.

Rear tyres swapped, front shocks and a drop link replaced, and the baking soda & vinegar paste has really cleared up the headlight. Re-test tomorrow!

Front tyres were done last week. I checked the rear tyres, but only the treads, which were not bad / not great. Thats on me for not looking too close. £300 for all 4 tyres, shocks are gonna be £255, MoT was £45 and bulbs were £5. So that’s £605 and counting…

At the tyre fitters getting the rear tyres swapped. Booked into the garage near work for the shocks tomorrow morning. So much for saving some money this month.

Nope. Even if Democrats retake the house and senate, Trump will veto anything they stick on his desk. Newsome and Schiff won’t commit to removing the tariffs because Cali wine isn’t being bought in Canada anymore. Most Dems don’t even acknowledge the economic harm done to Canada, just the US.

I can replace the exhaust mount and clean the headlight, but the shocks and tyres are pro-garage jobs. Not sure about the brakes yet.

Front shock leaking, both will need replacing. Headlight plastic oxidised, needs cleaning or replacing. Rear tyres are worse than I thought (advisory) Brakes imbalanced (advisory) Exhaust rear mount needs replacing (advisory)
