It gave me Nevada, I think I might be having an identity crisis.

A map of the United States overlaid with color denoting the similarity of my dialect to different regions. The west coast especially around Washington, California, and Nevada are dark red. The Midwest and Illinois are medium red, everywhere else is blue.

Oh yeah, forgot to announce last night. Finally posted the next entry in Cycles, for those following. www.likesdinosaurs.com/cycles/adrift

A preview snippet of text reading: You’d think with how far we’ve advanced in space travel and communications, we’d have a better understanding of our minds to know which it is. We’re still pretty in the dark there. And our understanding of the universe still hasn’t advanced enough to determine if there’s a multiverse or not, so there’s really not much for me to go on here.

Thanksgiving day loop around the waterfront featuring a turf war between the seagulls and the pigeons down

A view over the water with a ferry driving off into the distance

A view from the waterfront bridge, showing the aquarium set in front of the Puget sound

a view from the habitat beach, showing a rocky shore with two ferries in the background

Despite the gloomy weather this morning, I still went down to the waterfront with a friend and had a good time. Bonus pic of my breakfast from Lowell's

A small boat in the distance, surrounded by fog

The view out of the restaurant window, showing Puget sound covered in fog and rain

A large container ship in the fog, it appears ghostly behind a nearby building

A plate with an omelette, toast, hash browns, and a fruit slice. The omelette has Parmesan cheese, fried oysters, bacon, and green onions

Absolutely wild things happening at the Mariners-Blue Jays game right now

A timeline of events from the baseball game. A pitcher is switched out, then the next three players are walked, leading to loaded bases. At the end of the timeline is two mound visits

Tonight's project: trying my hand at some more animation. Like last time, a loading spinner, this time specifically for the search page. Wanted to capture the vibes of rummaging through your card collection to find what you're looking for. Made with @rive.app

Quite possibly one of my silliest projects yet. See my die rolls in real time on my website thanks to @gamewithpixels.bsky.social

Today's little project: A Magic: The Gathering themed loading spinner for another project I'm working on (plus a sneak peek of that project for everyone 😉). I built this with @rive.app using a state machine that randomly picks a shuffle type each time it loops.

today's shenanigans: adding custom skins for the cursor on my website. Gonna add more later, but wanted to make a silly little thing first

OH YEAH, now that we can post videos on here. I can finally show my neat Spotify status thing from my website in motion. I'm really proud of how this one turned out.

Ok I'm now *really* happy with how my spotify card is looking. Incorporated some playful skeuomorphism to make the progress bar look like a cassette reel. Check out my site while I'm listening to some music to see it move, it's really neat.

New stickers from @aplante.com are here. They are so good, and they have gone onto the water bottle immediately

A picture containing two stickers and a card. The first sticker is a deli ham with the text "Wet Ham" and "made with so much wet" on it. The second sticker is a cute pigeon eating a hotdog. The card has an image of two polar bears.

got Procreate today and did an art. it is my first art in a long time

An abstract image of some hills with a 3D papercraft effect on them. In the background is a splotch of paint meant to look like the sun and some sun rays. Hidden amongst the hills is the shadow of a dinosaur

I've been slowly adding extra info to some of the status cards on my website. This one is my new favorite I think, but the helldivers one is pretty cool too. If you ever see me playing stardew, take a peek at my site for some extra info about where I'm at.

A card with the label "I'm currently playing", its title reads "Stardew Valley." Among the info displayed on the card is the current in game date and time, as well as the amount of money

I decided to add achievements to my website, there's quite a few of them, and I even made my own sound effects for them. Was an interesting process to get the animations looking nice.

I'm working on a new project, and I'm currently looking at what other people have done before for inspiration. Anyone have any more examples of websites or apps that provide preview cards on hover like Wikipedia or D&D Beyond? (Not literal page previews, specifically designed cards)
